Introductions First

Hi, I’m Alan and I write in italics.

This blog is a dialogue between me and a first year physics student at Oxford, who writes in normal font (except when he wants to emphasise something, when he can write in italics).

This student does have a name, but I’ve not yet consulted with him on how anonymous he wishes to be.

This blog may or may not include:

  • Physics thoughts
  • Physics puzzles
  • Impeccable use of the English language
  • Equations!

The last of these may be off-putting… but as yet, we haven’t figured out how to insert nicely formatted equations into this blog… so there won’t be any for a while.

Signing off,

Alan
